Emerald Windows Apprentice Shortlisted for GGP Installer Awards 2025

We are excited to announce that our marketing apprentice at Emerald Windows and Doors, Lee Brett, has been shortlisted for a Rising Star award by the GGP Installer Awards 2025!

What are the GGP Installer Awards?

The Glass & Glazing Products (GGP) Installer Awards is run by GGP Magazine, which provides an unbiased insight into the UK’s window, door, conservatory and glass industry. The annual event shines a spotlight on the very best in these sectors and is sponsored by leading names in the industry, including FENSA, Certass, Kelly’s Heroes and Comp Door.

What is a “Rising Star”?

This award celebrates exceptional individuals at the start of their careers in the fenestration industry, who have already demonstrated their incredible talent or work ethic, making a significant contribution to the business.

What makes our apprentice a Rising Star?

Lee started at the company at only 16 years old, in a junior role. Two years later, he has progressed to become a multi-channel marketing apprentice and has injected new life into Emerald Windows and Doors, launching a TikTok account that has soared past one million views as well as introducing AI-driven tools for increased efficiency. Through a mix of tradition, creativity and innovation, the ambitious 18-year-old’s goal is to reshape the ingrained perception of family-run home improvement organisation, whilst driving growth and inspiring others to embrace new ideas in an industry many see as rigid.

This award, and Lee’s recognition from the GGP team and judging panel, is especially meaningful to us at Emerald Windows because it reflects our commitment to investing in people and shaping the future of our industry. By training the next generation of skilled professionals and maintaining the highest standards of quality, we’re not only contributing to the longevity of the window, door, conservatory, and glass trade but also ensuring that Emerald continues to deliver the quality and expertise our customers expect for years to come.

We’re thrilled to see Lee’s hard work recognised on such a prestigious platform as the GGP Awards, and we can’t wait to celebrate on the night of Thursday 13th March 2025 at the Midland Hotel in Manchester with other industry leaders.
