In April of this year, our expert team of installers were set the task of switching out a Marlborough home’s existing set of casement windows in favour of the much more versatile sash window options.
The customer wanted a much more traditional visual style for the front appearance of their home, and whilst the existing casements were already quite elegant (being set within a bay), we agreed that much more could be achieved. Before you know it, work was well under way!
Each of the 6 high performance uPVC sliding sash windows were manufactured and installed within the home by our professional team, in just the brief time of two days. This resulted in a project that caused the least amount of disruption possible, whilst still resulting in a final aesthetic that left the home feeling much more elegant and charming as desired by the customer.
Quite rightly so, the customer saw the benefit in having astragal bars featured within each of the sliding sash windows uPVC profiles, more easily providing a look that could replicate a Georgian, Victorian or Edwardian style depending on their placement. The team at Emerald happily worked with the homeowners, sending them different layout designs to achieve the best look possible.
